New Bella Pictures

It's been a long time since I shared any pictures of my baby, Bella! Let me just say, she is growing like a weed! It's unreal! She weighs over 40 lbs now. She gained 13 lbs. this past month alone! No more little puppy. :*(

Here are a few that I took the other day with Emily and Jacob.

Doesn't it look like she is smiling? I swear, she truly does smile. :)

She is our big baby...even though she weighs 40 lbs. Emily still holds her. She loves it, too.
She is such a great dog, and we are completely smitten with her.
She is now sleeping in bed with me and Ed. We tried to get her sleeping with Emily or Jacob, but she just barked to come into our room. If I am reading to Jacob, or not going to bed yet, she whines until I climb into bed. She just loves her Mommy. :)
Thanks for checking out my new pictures! Have a great day!

More Medallion...

OK...I know I use Medallion a lot...but it's so awesome with many possibilities! This is a swap that I got at Convention, and it's simply stamped, but WOW I just love it!

There is so much you can do with this image...it could be appropriate for Weddings to Sympathy just by changing up the color.

Here is another version. I did this one at a Private Class over the weekend (Hi Christine!). My hostess Christine had seen some samples at my home with this set and asked if we could make a card with it.

On this one, we did the ol' Poppin' Pastels technique. You stamp the image with Versamark Ink, and use Stampin' Up! Pastels to daub the chalk onto the image. The chalk "pops" with color where the ink was stamped. It's a very cool, almost magical technique. It's best to use Stampin' Up!'s Sponge Daubers for this technique. They fit right on your finger-tip and they are wonderful! You have a lot of control over the color.

Want to learn this fun technique for yourself? Get a group of friends together and give me a shout! I will put together a Private Class for you! You will get to make your very own hand stamped creation right there! :)
Thanks for stopping by!
Have a great day!

More Convention Samples

Here are a few more pictures of the sample boards we got to see at Convention. It's no wonder I come home with my head swimming with ideas!

Christmas Joy Layout

This is the 2nd layout from my Monthly Scrapbook Club this past week. I know, it's 110 degrees, really humid, and we can't even fathom the thought of Christams. But, hey...it'll be here before we know it.
This layout uses the new Merry Moments Designer Series Paper. I love the combo of Real Red, Very Vanilla and Chocolate Chip. We also used Merry Moment Stamp Set, and cut out some ornaments and popped them up on dimensionals.
Thanks for stopping by today. If you ever want to join us at Scrapbook Club, please let me know. We love welcoming new guests!
Stamp Happy,

Let's Hear it for the Girls!

How cute are these gals? VERY! These are a few of the gals in my downline - (l to r) Kristen, Tory, Kim and Karen (for some reason, Judy is missing?). I had handed out awards at my meeting tonight (the cool Stampin' Up! bag and inside is material and embellishments to make 10 cards). Every so often I issue an optional challenge, and if you participate you get fun stuff!

Notice the cute personalized tag with their initals on it! I had cut out the scallop circle with the
Large Oval die cut for the Big Shot and then personalized it with their inital, Razzleberry Lemonade Designer Paper and some fun ribbon.

Beyond any challenge though, I just adore these gals. They are wonderful, dear friends and I love them for all they bring to our wonderful group of Demonstrators. Thanks for all you do, gals! Congratulations on completing your challenge!

New Embossing Folders

Stampin' Up! has outdone themselves again! In the catalog, we have new embossing folders to be used with the Big Shot Die Cut Machine. This one is called Elegant Bouquet. I just love it. Plain, simple, elegant and gorgeous!

The card base is Very Vanilla, and the layer is the new In Color, Soft Suede. I ran the top layer of Vanilla through the Big Shot using the embossing folder. I then used a piece of the Polka Dot Soft Suede ribbon (the reverse side of the polka dot ribbons is plain). I used the Oval All greeting set, stamped in Soft Suede, and layered it with an oval scallop punch. Easy peasy, done in less than 5 minutes!

These folders work beautifully with our new Wedding Collection. We have beautiful new papers, stamps and die cuts to make everything you need for your special day and it all coordinates perfectly. :)

Thanks for stopping by!

Convention Pictures

I don't know if it's possible to describe what Convention is really like...it's something you have to experience! Just imagine thousands of women (and a few men!) who all love to stamp and scrapbook...away from their significant others and children, armed with a new catalog, and 5 new stamp sets, tons of samples and class ideas to get the creative juices flowing....it's sheer bliss, I tell ya.

One of the things I love most about Stampin' Up! is the relationships I have formed because of it. Customers, friends, downline and the tons of fellow demonstrators across the country. Here are some pictures of what Convention is like...

This is Nate, my former SAM (Service Account Manager). He is so awesome! He is sort of like a business coach, helping me with all aspects of my business. You Rock, Nate!

This is my Convention Roomie, Lisa Freeman from Virginia. You might remember that I went to her house last Fall for a girls weekend and Stampin' Up! Regional Seminar. Lisa is a Stampin' Up! Star! She placed #8 in the Country this year! WOW! Congratulations, Lisa!

This is the Opening Session on Day 1. Stampin Up! always does it up BIG! We always have performers and a huge Celebration to kick off convention! These gymnists are going to the Olympics in 2012! They were awesome!

In the Gathering Place, Stampin Up! sets up TONS of Display Boards with stamped samples...scrapbook pages, cards and 3D items. There are literally thousands and thousands of displays. This is just one small picture...I have 100's more! Stampin' Up! gives us tons of ideas to use in our Stamp Camps and workshops so I don't have to create this stuff all alone! Whew! :)

Along with the card displays, they do an AMAZING job of setting up Product Displays. This years Holiday Mini is incredible...and they had a separate display set up for ALL of the products. This just one of many...featuring the Build A Bear products. Sooo cute!
Here is another display with the new Holiday Paper from the mini catalog...beautiful! :)
This is perhaps my most favorite picture from Convention. This is my pal Kimberly. She is amazing. I took this picture when she realized she had placed #2 in the Country. She works so very very hard, and in this moment she was completely overwhelmed. I was sitting right next to her, and I am so glad I captured this. She inspires me. My favorite thing about this picture is her husband, Russ. He is SO very proud of her. Just look at that smile on his face. :*) I might also mention that Kimberly was selected to serve on Shelli's Advisory Board this year. here is no higher honor, and Kimberly deserves this so much! :)
I will share more pictures in the days to come. I hope I have given you an idea about the fun, friendships and creativity that Stampin' Up! Conventions provide us with!
Wanna come with me next year? I'd love to have you!
Have a great day!

Scrapbook Club Starts Monday August 17th!

I am really looking forward to kicking off the next round of Scrapbook and Stampin' Clubs! I love having the gals over once a month to stamp and have some fun together.

So, I have been a little crazy since I got back from Convention. I am a mad woman prepping for my camps, classes and workshops. But I love it!

I worked on my Scrapbook Club layout yesterday and this is what I came up with.

I know it's still summer, but I just love Autumn! I used a lot of the new In Colors on this Layout. We've got Soft Suede, Dusty Durango and Soft Suede going on here. And we are also using Twill Tape, and stamping on it with the Lexicon of Leaves Stamp Set in Soft Suede ink...it makes it look rustic. :)

Guests are welcome at scrapbook and stamping clubs, space permitting. We meet the 3rd Monday of each month at 7 PM in my Stampin' Studio. Cost for guests is $12 material fee for two 12x12 double page layouts, or waived with a $30 order. Contact me 1 week in advance to attend!
Enjoy your day and thanks for stopping by!

It's Never Too Early....

...to start thinking about Christmas Cards!
This is an adorable card I made while I was at Convention. My Pal Dawn Rapsas organized a show box swap for the first night. It was a lot of fun to stamp with 50 other demonstrators and come home with a ton of awesome samples! Stampin' Up! events are so much fun!

This card was designed by fellow demonstrator, Robin Merriman, from Virginia. We used the Big Shot and the Stampin' Up! exclusive Movers and Shakers Die cut! This allows us to score the cardstock and cut out the window at the same time. Then we stamped the greeting, punched it out with the coorninating punch, and layered it inside the card.
Here is a closer look at the window and the greeting:

Finishing off this card is the gorgeous new Real Red Polka Dot ribbon! I tell ya, it's awesome! Stampin' Up! ribbons are the highest quality, and oh, so beautiful!

Speaking of Christmas...I listed 5 new Christmas Stamp Camps beginning this month!
Check out my Stampin Up! web site for dates: http://stampinjunkie.stampinup.net
Don't delay in signing up as space is already filling quickly!

A Gift from a Special Friend

My dear friend Kimerly Van Diepen made me this adorable convention gift for me. Inside is a 5x8 Jr. Legal Note Pad. She made this out of our new Thouroughly Modern File Folders. We have a whole new organizational line, inlcuding Gussetted Envelopes, Designer Series Paper and of course, coordinating stamp sets. Now you can organize your office in style!

While I was taking the picture of this project to share with you, Bella grabbed the card Kimberly made me. I had to take a picture because she looked so cute!

I was surprised when I got home to see how much Bella had grown in a week! No more little puppy!

Here is the awesome card that Kimberly made me...using the new Razzle Dazzle Stamp Set and the Razzleberry Lemonade DSP.
Thanks for stopping by today...be sure to keep checking back for more new projects from Convention!

Oh, what a trip!

Hello Stampers!

I am back from SLC, and what an amazing week I had! I am bursting with loads of new ideas that I got on this trip! Be patient...as I will post something each day. I have to take it one piece at a time! LOL

I think one of the things I am MOST excited about is Stampin' Up!'s exclusive agreement with Build-A-Bear Workshop. You will see these new products in the upcoming Holiday Mini Catalog (which you should be receiving in your mailbox in the next week or so).

I got to see the entire product line at Convention and all the adorable things we can do with it!

The product line includes of course, stamps and papers. But that is not all! We have exclusive die cuts for the Big Shot machine for the bears, the clothes and the accessories! I am so excited about all the cool things we can do with these die cuts!

Here is a sneak peak at a few gift bags that were made at Convention with the die cuts!

Aren't they sooo cute? I have loads of many other ideas headed your way! Just be sure to stay tuned!

And if that weren't enough...Build a Bear partnered with Stampin' Up! to make us our very own exclusive Bear! Each demonstrator was allowed to buy one at Convention. The bear is soooo adorable, and comes with her own Stampin' Up! Apron, and of course, her own bear stamp!

Being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator is so much fun and so rewarding on so many levels. Joining this amazing company is one of the best decisions of my life. I know what it's done for me and my family, and I know it could do the same for you. :)
Stamp Happy and thanks for stopping by ~

Convention News

Hello Stampers!

I have been so busy this week in Salt Lake City for the Stampin' Up! Convention! I have been having a great time with thousands of other crazy stampers from around the US and Canada. I have gotten some great new ideas that I can't wait to share with you! We also have seen our new digital scrapbooking program, My Digital Studio, and it is amazing! I am so excited about this new product and can't wait to get my hands on it! It's important to note that this is not a replacement for traditional scrapbooking...just an additional offering for those who prefer to do everything digitally.

I hope you are all having a wonderful week! I get home late Sunday, so I will be sure to catch up with you all next week!

Stamp Happy,
Terri :-)

Baskets and Blooms Die Basket

How cute is this little basket? I saw the directions on another Demo's Blog (sorry I don't remember who, but if it's you, please email me so I can give you proper credit!) and I had to make one!

I used the BigZ Baskets and Bloom Die. All you really do it use the handle parts from the die and add additional cardstock to make the front/back and bottom. You could make this in any size you wanted..but I used it as a hostess gift for a recent workshop, and wanted it to hold a set of cards.

I used the new Bermuda Bay and Melon Mambo cardstock and a strip of Razzleberry Lemonade Designer Series Paper. I finished it off with some coordinating Melon Mambo polka dot double stitched ribbon.

Here is the set of cards that I put inside:

I used the Hostess Set, Kind and Caring Thoughts. It's a great set! I love the script on the phrases in this set. I used only In Color inks, ribbon and cardstock on this set of cards. I love that we have In Color in Markers now! It made making this set of cards a snap!

Hope you are all having a great week!
