Lovely Letterpress Winter

I will admit I've only used this set once since I bought it. I don't know why! It's FABULOUS and it's got coordinating framelits. Score!

So I am prepping for my Christmas Club this month and decided to pull this set out. What fun I had. Little effort to make a beautiful card. Right up my alley!

I used the Snowflake Card Thinlit die cut to cut out the snowflake. I stamped the largest snowflake in Soft Sky, then stamped the medium snowflake on top of that in Lost Lagoon. I used the snowflake thinlit die to cut out the sparkly snowflake on top. Easy peasy! And so so sparkly in person!

Bright Beautiful goes Gold

Hi there Stampers,

It is a cold and very blustery day here in CT.  I have Chicken Noodle Soup in the crock pot, hubby's got football on the TV and I am spending most of my time in my stamp room creating holiday cards.

Now that Halloween is over, we are rolling into the best time of year to be making cards.
The holiday catalog is loaded with so many wonderful sets that it's hard to decide which one to ink up next.

I love the Bright Beautiful set for so many reasons. It comes with a set of matching star framelits, you can layer the stars together, or in this case, use them singly for a simple card. I was inspired by fellow demonstrator, Amy Storrie. She made the original card that I was inspired by. Thank you so much for  the awesome inspiration, Amy!

This was so simple to put together. The cardstock that is embossed is brushed gold. I haven't used it in a very long time. And I adore the gold paired against the Mossy Meadow card stock.

Here are the supplies I used:

October Christmas Club Cards

Hello Stampers!

I wanted to share the cards my monthly Christmas Club gals will be making in October.
Simple, but oh, so lovely!

Each month, the stamp club makes 6 cards (3 designs, 2 of each). It's a great way to gradually get your holiday cards made over the course of a few months instead of stressing and doing it all in December (like we don't already have enough going on in December!).

However...I do open the club up to guests as well. If you would like to join us, please contact me to reserve your space. The material fee is $15 for the 6 cards, OR free with a $30 order.

All you need to bring is adhesive and scissors. I provide the rest. Envelopes, snack, and chocolate provided. ;)

Have a great weekend...

In LOVE with Ornamental Pine!

Hello All -

I haven't posted in well over a week! Sorry about that. I was busy celebrating my 49th birthday last weekend (I am holding onto the 40's with a death grip) . I enjoyed a 4 day weekend with family and friends. It was quite lovely. Especially the part where my Momma bakes me a Carrot Cake. It's my favorite and my Mom's is the BEST.

I am getting ready for my monthly Christmas Card Stamp Club meeting this month. I just received the set Ornamental Pine from the holiday catalog. I LOVE IT!
Glitter looks awesome on this card!

This was SO easy to put together! You could crank these out in bulk. See the red berries? Not a stamp, but an eraser tip from a pencil. I simply dabbed it in the Real Red Ink Pad and stamped it right on my card. Viola!

Here is the supply list. To purchase any of these items, simply click on them and you will be directed to my online store.
