Stamp Camp Sample

As promised, here is another card we made at Stamp Camp on Saturday. My stamp room was all a bustle with two back to back camps. Everyone seemed to LOVE the cards and a great time was had by all.

I just love this card and layout! It features the new 2-Step Bird Punch. When I first saw this punch in the mini catalog, I wasn't wild about it. But then I went to Leadership and saw tons of awesome samples, and I fell in love! It punches the branch, bird and wing all at once!

We used the Elegant Bouquet embossing folder to emboss on the Rich Razzleberry piece. The Designer Paper is Cottage Wall, and it's just soooo pretty! The border punch down the side is the Scallop Trim Border Punch and it's one of the FREE offerings during Sale-A-Bration.

The bird piece flaps open to reveal a white piece underneath to stamp a greeting or jot a quick note. I love cards that feature a cool fold!

To make this card:

Rich Razzleberry - 5 -1/2" x 4 -1/4"

Cottage Wall Designer Paper - 5 -1/2" x 3"

Orchid Opulance Cardstock - 5- 1/2" x 1"

Layer pieces for the Bird:

Whisper White - 2- 1/2" x 2- 1/2"

Rich Razzleberry - 2 - 3/4" x 2-3/4"

Old Olive - 3" x 3"

Directions:

  1. Emboss the Rich Razzleberry Piece using the Elegent Bouquet Embossing Folder and the Big Shot.
  2. Fold the strip of Cottage Wall Designer Series Paper in 1/2 legth wise. Attach to the back of the Rich Razzleberry Cardstock.
  3. Scallop the edge of the Orchid Opulance strip and adhere underneath the front piece of the Cottage Wall Designer Paper.
  4. Punch bird, wing and brach using the 2 step Bird Punch.
  5. Adhere branch to the Whisper White Piece.
  6. Sponge bird and wing with Rich Razzleberry Ink. Adhere together.
  7. Attach bird to branch with Stampin Dimensional.
  8. Attach bird piece to Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive layers.
  9. Adhere to front flap.
  10. Inclue a 2-3/4" x 2-3/4" Whisper White piece on the inside to stamp greeting.

As you can see, this card is EASY PEASY! You could crank them out in no time at all and they are super cute. My stamping friends LOVED them yesterday!

Have a great day!

Stamp Camp Sneak Peak

Saturday Jan 23rd is my first Stamp Camp of the new year! I have been having so much fun playing with the new stamps and accessories! I hope my customers love them as much as I do!

Here are 2 of the projects we are making tomorrow.
It should come as no surprise that we will be using Vintage Vogue! It's my favorite set from the Occasions Mini Catalog and so versatile! This card uses Soft Suede, Very Vanilla and Bravo Burgandy ink and cardstock. The greeting is from a set called Vintage Labels and it is one of the Sale-A-Bration sets you can get for FREE with a $50 order. I added quite a bit of sponging on this card to make it look antique. A few gold brads adds just a hint of bling. ;0)
This card is simply Very Vanilla and Pretty in Pink and features the I {heart} Hearts Stamp Set and the Sending Love Designer Series Paper. I love that this paper is pre glittered! No mess!
The scallop is made from the new Pinking Hearts Border Punch. I wanted to show this set can be used for so much more than just valentines' day. Any day is a good day to spread a little love.
The greeting is a set called Whimsical Words. There are 8 greetings in this set that all have that beautiful font. It is another FREE SET option with a $50 order.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have a great weekend!
Tune in tomorrow for the other 2 projects from Stamp Camp!
Hope you can join me next time.

Mini Catalog Inspiration

After my group meeting on Sunday, I had some down time to play with all my new stampin' goodies! I made a couple of cards that I want to share with you today.

Now, I have to apologize up front...I am hooked on the Vintage look...Vintage Vogue Stamp set in particular. A few more cards and I should get it out of my system. LOL.

This card features the Bella Bleu Designer Paper and the new Vanilla Satin Ribbon...I also added a vanilla half back pearl from the Pretties Kit to the center of the flower.

This is simply Bashful Blue and Soft Suede. The top portion of the card was embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots folder, and sponged. The greeting is the Well Scripted Stamp Set in the Mini Catalog. The ribbon is Vanilla Taffeta. The punch is the Sale-A-Bration offering...get it for FREE with a $50 order. I added a vanilla button to the center of the flower and did a bit more sponging.

Stay tuned for more samples coming your way!

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Sharing What I Love

Happy Monday Everyone -

I had a great weekend and hope you did too! I got together with my group of demonstrators. I absolutely LOVE the times we have together. We laugh, we learn, we share, we EAT and we stamp! Today I showed them how to make the Heart Treat Cups Card and a cool flower we learned at Leadership. Here are a few of the gals stamping and having a great time.

Is stamping or crafting a part of your life? Have you ever thought about doing what I do?
I joined this Company 7 years ago so that I could stay at home with my kids, and still contribute to my family income. It's been a great choice...and the people I have met have enriched my life beyond measure!

During Sale-A-Bration there is a Starter Kit Special! Take 15% off the price of the starter kit, and you get to add any additional stamp set of your choice to your kit for free!
So, if you want to earn some extra money, or just want to get a discount on your stamps, Stampin' Up! is the place for you. You would LOVE being apart of this great company as much as we all do.

Want more info? Drop me a note and I will email you some info.
No pressure, no obligation. I just want to share what I love with you!

Have a great Monday!

Terri

Feeling The Love....

Here are some more card samples from Leadership. Hope you enjoy the creative inspiration!

One of my very clever fellow demonstrators made this so cute Cupid card. This is the Build A Bear die cut for the Big Shot. She made him a little diaper, sash, arrow and even vellum wings. I thought she did a great job! Excuse my thumb in the lower left corner...we were sitting having coffee when she showed me her sample and I quick snapped a picture. Too cute!

On January 5th, Stampin' Up! release the Heart Treat Cups and coordinating Sweetheart Stamp set. How cool is this? You punch out with the Full Heart Punch and put the cup in the center and fill it with treats! Wouldn't you love to get this in the mail? There are even padded envelopes to mail these cards so they don't get squished! I will be featuring the Heart Treat Cups at my Sending Love Stamp Camp on Jan. 31. Come make one!

One of my altime favorite sets is the Always Stamp set. It's just classy and has this beautiful heart in it. It can be used for more than Valentines Day of course. But I love this card with the black and red contrast. Elegent and classy!

This card has some awesome new products on it. The background was done with the new Perfect Polka Dot Embossing Folder. Love it! And the butterflies are made with the Stampin' Up! Exclusive new Beautiful Wings Embosslit die! It cuts and embosses all these cute butterflies at once. A time saver, and the embossing on them very cool!

To place an order online for any of these new products, click here and select SHOP NOW in the upper right corner. And don't forget the FREE pickins' with every $50 order!

Have a great weekend!

A Quilters Dream Come True

Our final moments at Leadership were SO exciting! Shelli presented an award to fellow Demonstrator, Jill Olsen for her efforts in blazing the trail with the Big Shot and our die-cuts into the textile industry.

She showed off all the incredible quilts and fabric things she has made and the amazing work she has done blending our products into the world of fabric. As a side note - did you know you can cut 8 layers of fabric with the Big Shot?? Not being a seamstress, I had no idea!

My dear friend, Lisa Freeman, had already taken the leap into textile with her Big Shot, and made me the cutest tote bag! I carried my card swaps in it, and people stopped me all through the conference to take pictures of the bag. She used our Scallop Square Die Cut and the Flower Folds Die cut. Isn't this the cutest thing ever????

Here are a few more pictures; a close up of the flower and the back of the bag:

The Big Shot is the only die cut machine that can cut through fabric! What a dream come true for Quilters who normally have to cut the squares out by hand. The Big Shot is a HUGE time saver!

Here are some of the quilts that were on display at Leadership. These were all made using the Big Shot and Stampin' Up! dies! Aren't they beautiful?

If you are a quilter, or know someone who is, make sure to forward this post to them! I would be happy to do a quilting workshop for anyone who is interested in learning how the Big Shot can make quilting easier and faster. :)

Have a great day!
