My Digital Studio...AMAZING!!

Well, I have been re-bitten by the MDS bug! OMG, I am having SO MUCH fun! I have always been a scrapbooker first, then stamper next. I adore all my stamps and inks and embellishments. But when SU came out with MDS a few years ago, I adored the ease, and the control over my projects.

Well, as I mentioned in an earlier post, my friend Heather is an MDS genius! I have been spending some time this week scrapping some of my favorite moments. And I am IN LOVE!

Here is a favorite page I made this week!

There are so many FUN elements on this page! I love that the colors really bring out the photograph. To me, a good scrapbook page should ENHANCE the photograph, not distract from it.

Thanks for letting me share! I have lots more pages to share this week. No, I am not going completely digital. Although it's tempting. It's just another creative outlet!

Have a great week! I think the rain has finally stopped! Woo Hoo!

Father's Day My Digital Studio Pages

Hello Stampers and Scrappers!

I have been once again bitten by the MDS (My Digital Studio) bug. I have been seeing so many AWESOME pages and the new downloads SU! has every week are AWESOME.

Father's Day was awesome around here! The kids and I made a special breakfast for Daddy...home made Cinnamon Rolls. We had never made them before, and it was a rocky start, but thanks to Jacob (my best baking helper) we pulled it off. We also got Daddy an OVER THE TOP gift...Red Sox tickets...but not just ANY tickets...these are AMAZING tickets...right near the dugout on the 1st base line. I have a special friend who hooked me up (thanks, E!).

Anyway, I took such fun pictures I had to scrap them. So here is what I came up with . I should mention the inspiration came from fellow Demonstrator, Heather Summers. She just ROCKS MDS like no one I know! You should check out her blog. I hope to grow up and be like her someday. She is an amazing stamper, scrapbooker, MOM and friend! :)

Anyway, here are my pages! Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you are having a great start to your week!

Stamp Camp Cards!

Yesterday I had a full house for my June Stamp Camp! It was so great to have the house full of happy stampers!

I thought I would share the projects that we made with you! Everyone seemed to love them!

This is a unique card, as the greeting part is actually a flap that flips up to reveal the greeting space. We used the Elegant Soiree Paper (soon retiring) and the Fun Flowers Die for the Big Shot. Big hit with the ladies!

This was also very popular with today being Father's Day and all! This is The Open Sea Stamp Set and the Nautical DSP from the Summer Mini Catalog. I am so glad I purchased it...I don't own many masculine sets! This one I LOVE!

This one might have been the favorite of the day! This the is Strength and Hope Stamp Set. It's is the Breast Cancer Research Set ($2 from the sale of each set goes to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation)! I adore that Stampin' Up! gives back in so many ways!

This is Early Espresso, Very Vanilla and Baja Breeze Cardstock. The embossing folder is the Finial Press - sponged with Early Espresso Ink. The ribbon is Early Espresso Satin. And lots of pearls add a beautiful finishing touch!

The last card is a lovely floral from Just Believe. I ADORE this set and I hope it NEVER retires! It is gorgeous no matter WHAT you do with it! This is Rose Red and Crumb Cake. Delish!

Thanks for stopping by today! Only a few weeks until the release of the NEW CATALOG! WOO HOO! Stay tuned for info about a New Catalog Stampin' Event!

Happy Father's Day to all!

Bold Blossoms

Hey there...

just wanted to pop in and share a clean, simple card. This is the Bold Blossom set that is in the Summer Mini Catalog.

I love the crisp white and the contrast of the bright colors.
I just popped up the little flowers with dimenstionals and added a rhinestone the the center of each one. The ribbon is Blushing Bride.

Simple, clean and cute!

It's going to be a HOT one here today! It was brutal yesterday, today will be worse! In fact, the school district I work in has already called for early closing. So stay cool, drink lots of water and remember to keep your furry friends in the A/C.

Thanks for stopping by!

The Open Sea

I can't believe it's been over a MONTH since I've posted! WOW. My sincerest apologies. I think I lost my mojo somewhere...but I feel it returning.

The Summer Mini Catalog is in full swing. My hands down favorite set in the catalog is The Open Sea. I just love it! The matching Nautical Designer Paper, and the cherry cobbler bakers twine all pair up to make awesome creations! And honestly, I don't have hardly ANY masculine sets in my inventory, and I needed to add one in a big way!

So, the past few days I have been having lots of fun creating in my stamp room with these new goodies. I will share 2 cards with you today (since I haven't posted in a long time).

This first one uses Crumb Cake, the nautical designer paper, and cherry cobbler. I did lots of sponging on it to give it a rustic look. The ribbon was scrunched up and stuck to the card using Sticky strip. I love that look!

The 2nd one uses Crumb Cake and Marina Mist. All of these awesome colors are in the pack of designer paper. This one I added some vintage brads to tie the look together. The ship was stamped in Early Espresso and then colored in a bit with Marina Mist and Crumb Cake.

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you have a great week!

SAY GOODBYE....

Every year, we say goodbye to dozens and dozens of products...stamps, accessories, papers....
to make room for the new ones that will be coming in the next catalog.

But once they are gone, they are GONE. And let me save you the time and money of shopping on eBay. You will NOT get a better price. You will pay MORE because once an item is retired, the value INCREASES (it's the ol' supply and demand thing).

So take a look and shop in my online store and get the ones you have to have before they are gone FOREVER!
