Happy Friday!

Hello Stampers!

Today is FRIDAY...and you know that means MDS Blog Hop Day! I was sadly not able to participate this week, as I am on overload! But I do still have a stamped treat to share with you today.

This is one of the bonus cards from the Snow Much Fun Class I held this month. How cute is this little Christmas tree? :0)

This card comes together pretty quickly, but has lots of fun embellishments. It starts with Holly Berry Designer Series Paper. And I know you can't see it, but the red stripped is glittered. So pretty!
Then we have a piece of Chocolate Ribbon across the middle, with the addition of a Wild Wasabi button and a little tag that says Merry tied on with linen thread. Super Cute!

Thanks for stopping by today and be sure to visit all the other stops on the Blog Hop! These ladies are super talented digital designers!

Have a great weekend!

Pac Man Cupcakes!

Hello Stampers,

Well my not so little man, Jacob, is having his 10th birthday party this weekend. He wanted Pac Man cupcakes...so I went to work using My Digital Studio.

Here is how they cam out:

It was so easy to do! I used the bottom of the Cupcake Punch layered with the Wide Oval Punch in MDS...and then simply filled it with color. They eyes come from the Owl Eyes. So cute!
And the Pac Man himself is just circle punches with a piece of the pie cut out.

I filled a whole sheet with these little fellas, and printed it out on Whisper White Cardstock.
I think punched them out with my 1 1/4" circle punch, layered with a 1 3/8" circle and finally backed on a Black Scallop.

It was so fast and easy...the longest part was actually gluing the layers together!

I hope you have a great weekend.

MDS Blog Hop...Week 8

Hello Stampers -

Sorry for getting my post up so late this morning. We had a really busy night and I was just too exhausted!

This weeks theme is ORGANIZATION. Hmm....that one stumped me...I could USE some organization, as I am so NOT. LOL

So instead, I did a quick Halloween treat for Jacob's Class. We have a NO FOOD rule (bummer) for celebrations...so I decided to use the new 1" x 8" Cello Bags in the Holiday Mini to package up Halloween Pencils! Super cute! These bags are AWESOME. Perfect for candy, pencils, and all kinds of fun treats! And at a price of $2.50 for 50 of them, you can make an adorable treat without breaking the bank!

And here is a close up of the tags themselves. So fun and FAST to make using MDS!

One of the downloads last week was Spooky Bingo Bits. I LOVE that set and quickly purchased it! It's such a cute set and it fits inside so many of our punches! And now that we have it digitally, well, the possibilities are endless! There are 24 cool Halloween images in this set, and the cost is only $7.95!

Here is a quick tutorial in case you are new to MDS and want to learn how to make these:

List, Lists and More Lists!

I found a super cute and fun idea to make for the girls on my team. We have a meeting this morning and we are going to stamp and eat and share, and eat....LOL. You get the idea.
I always like to make a little something extra or have a give away ...just something to show how much I appreciate and adore these ladies. We have a lot of fun together!

So anyway, back to the project. I used our new Holly Berry Bouquet Designer Series Paper to cover these list pads...take a look...

The pads themselves measure about 2" x 8". Perfect size for list making! Our stamping portion of the meeting today is related to anything from the Holiday Mini, so I went with the Christmas theme on these. After all, we ALL have a lot to do around the holidays and I make more lists then than any other time of year.

Here is a close up of the journal and then a peek at the inside paper.

Supply List:

Real Red Cardstock - 8 1/4" x 5 1/2"
(score at 2 5/8" and 2 7/8")

Wild Wasabi Cardsotck - 8" x 2 3/8"
Stripe and Wasabi DSP - 4" x 2 1/4"

Stamp Set: Pines and Poinsettias, Tiny Tags (Merry)

Ink: Chocolate Chip, Wild Wasabi, and Real Red Stampin' Write Markers

Accessories:
Red Glimmer Paper, Chocolate Chip Scallop Ribbon, Holly Berry Designer Buttons, Linen Thread, 1 3/8" Circle Punch, Scallop Circle Punch, Stampin' Dimentionals, Glue Dots, Sticky Strip

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you have an awesome weekend!

MDS Blog Hop Friday, Week #7

Hello All...Friday is upon us and that means it's time for another round of MDS Blog Hopping!

This weeks theme is FALL! Oh, fall...how I adore thee. I love the cooler temps, sweatshirts, crisp apples, and making stew in my crock pot for Sunday Football Games.

We also have lots of yummy downloads for MDS! From awesome stamp sets to designer papers, there is no shortage of delicious digital treats to make your scrapbooking easy and FAB.

Here is a quick page I put together tonight. I am sorry I didn't have time to do a double lay out, but it's just as busy as a beehive over here! LOL

My background is Soft Suede with a layer of Spice Cake Designer Paper (oh it is sooooo awesome!). I added some vanilla stitching around the edges. The journaling block is simply an oval punch filled with Vanilla paper, and a Pool Party border. The font I used on the journaling is CK Bella (love that font!).
The stamp set is French Foliage and I added a few buttons in the upper right corner.

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you have a fun weekend planned! Don't forget to visit the other gals on the Blog Hop!

Spice Cake LOVE!

Hello All...

I have been working on getting some autumn-ish themed classes and projects together for October. And I didn't have to go far to find the perfect sets and paper to use.

The Holiday Mini has it all!

I have been having so much fun playing with the new set Gently Falling.
It's a big set, with 12 stamps in it! It makes the prettiest cards and scrapbook pages!

My other fall favorite is Always Thankful. Oh boy...this one is so much fun to color in with a blender pen or Aqua Painter. Beautiful images!

So, with these 2 sets and the new Spice Cake Designer Series Paper (oh my...LOVE!)

and coordinating Fabric (double LOVE)...
... I have been busy making cards for an upcoming class.

Here is a sneak peek for you!

This class is going to be AWESOME! You will get to make 10 cards (5 designs, 2 of each) using both of these sets...AND do you see that box in the background? Well that is the new Card Keeper that is in the Holiday Mini. It is AWESOME. It is heavy chipboard, and so sturdy! It comes with sturdy dividers so you can separate your cards by month, or theme (birthday, get well, thinking of you, etc.). Cleaver, eh?

In addition to that, we are going to use the Spice Cake Designer Fabric to cover the top of the box. We will then die cut some gorgeous leaves to adorn the top of the box, and top it off with a coordinating Spice Cake Jumbo Button!

Class information is coming soon, so stay tuned!

I hope you are enjoying the gorgeous weather this weekend! It is perfect today...a welcome change after all that rain!

Thank you so much for stopping by!
Have a great Monday ~

MDS Blog Hop, Week #5!

Hello All!

It's Friday and that means it's MDS day! Woo Hoo!

This weeks challenge is near and dear to my heart...Halloween! We LOVE Halloween in our house! In fact our whole neighborhood digs it!

Every year we have a neighborhood Halloween party and it's SO much fun! The kids all dress up and we have lots of games, and treats, and snacks. We all take turns hosting it, and it's one of the highlights of the Fall.

This week I used the new WICKED digital download to make this page. I love the Designer Series Paper and the stamps in this kit.

I love the Spooky title on this page. I used a drop shadow and changed the color to white. It makes it ghostly! Fun!

Make sure you swing by the other stops on this Blog Hop for more fun Halloween inspiration!
Have a great weekend,

MDS Blog Hop , Week #4

It's Friday! Woo Hoo! And that means Blog Hop Day!
It's been busy around here with the return of school. I am sure many of you can relate! In addition to the kids going back, my husband and I had to go back too since we both work in schools. It's been a long week getting back into the swing of it and adjusting to a routine again. But certainly no complaints! Just that working is cutting into my crafty time! Boo!

This weeks theme is NATURE or OUTDOORS! How fun!
I didn't have any sports related pictures, so I adapted the theme to our Dolphin Excursion on our last vacation. That was certainly OUTDOORS and lots of Nature!

This page actually came together pretty quickly.  I used the Noteworthy Digital Kit - which contains patterned paper, and fun embellishments. The colors in this kit are some of my NEW FAVORITES this year (like Pool Party!). Super fun for summer pages! This kit is one of the awesome Hostess Selections you can select for FREE when you have a class with your friends! Fun!

I used a lot of circles on this page...both in the Designer Paper and in the Circle Punches...that I filled with more circles and dotted Designer Paper!

I hope you are enjoying this weeks blog hop! Don't forget to visit all of the wonderful ladies on the list!

Have a great Labor Day weekend!
Thanks for stopping by ~
