Sneak Peak - Elements of Style

One of the perks of being a Demonstrator is the sneak peaks and the FREE STAMPS we get from Stampin' Up! While I was in Phoenix last month, Shelli Gardner (CEO and Co-Founder) gave us all a wonderful surprise gift...a brand new Stamp Set that will be in the upcoming Summer Mini Catalog! The set is called Elements of Style, and it is gorgeous!

I am participating in a Demonstrator Swap for this stamp set. We all have to make a certain number of cards (one style). We send them in to the person hosting the swap, and she sends them back to you in a week or so. What you get back is one of each persons card. We have to make 35 cards, so I am excited that I will get back 35 different cards!

Here is what I came up with for my swap card:

I only used Basic Black and Very Vanilla Cardstock. Not sure if you can tell, but I dry embossed the top 1/2 of the vanilla piece with the Finial Press Embossing Folder for the Big Shot. The ribbon is the Basic Black 1- 1/4" Stripped Grosgrain, with a black satin bow. The main image is stamped in Basic Black Craft Ink and heat embossed with Clear Embossing Powder. 2 black brads finish it off.

Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you are all having a great week!

I am off to finish up these 35 cards! :)
