It's in the blood...

Jacob came home from school yesterday with a cool homework assignment. He had to make a holiday card for his book buddy. Do you think he is in the right house for THAT, or what?
LOL

At his school the 3rd and 4th graders have 1st and 2nd grade book buddies...they get together about once a week, and the older kids read to the younger kids. It's a great program, and really is designed to help the older kids practice their fluency.

So, he was pretty excited about making a card. He picked his stamp set (Punch Pals) and his cardstock colors (Pacific Point and Whisper White). All I did was cut the cardstock for him.
He knew to stamp it in Stazon Jet black, and he used the Stampin Write Markers to color it in.

Take a look:

Didn't he do an awesome job? We're not sure if his book buddy celebrates Christmas, so we stayed with a general winter theme.

I was so proud when he said "oh, I have to clean my stamps" and proceeded to do just that, and then put them away.
That's my boy! :0)

Have a great day!
