Here is an easy-peasy lemon-squeezy gift card holder for the holidays (or any day, actually).
We made this at a workshop last week. Not only is it cute, but it's so simple to make that you could crank these out in no time at all.
Start with an 8.5" x 5.5" piece of cardstock (the same size for a card) and score at 2" and 6". Fold up the bottom flap, adhere the sides with Sticky Strip to make the inside pocket for the gift card and simply decorate the front. I added a piece of Whisper White to the top inside flap to stamp a greeting on and a place to sign it.
The best part is that it fits in the standard size envelopes that you use for cards. :) This one uses Real Red Cardstock, a piece of Merry Moments Designer Series Paper, the Jolliest Time of the Year Stamp Set and the new gorgeous Real Red Polka Dot Ribbon. I love this ribbon so much...it's such amazing quality. It was really, really hard for me to cut it up and use it. LOL. I know, I have issues. I tend to hoard pretty paper and pretty ribbon. ;-)

Give it a try and make a few of these for your next holiday or birthday. Give a shout if you have any questions!
Have a great day,
bella cagata, veramente
