FALL CARD AND SCRAPBOOK CLUBS STARTING SOON!

Hey, Stampers!

Need an excuse to stamp each a month?

Join my Monthly Card/Scrap Club…

and get a night out once a month!

Here’s how it works:

- Clubs have 5 members each and run for 5 months.

- As a member of the club, you get to come to exclusive club workshops once a month to stamp, use my supplies and make free projects! It is a lot of fun!

- As a member of the club, you agree to purchase just $30 per month in stamping merchandise. The club will go from August 2010 – December 2010. I will provide snacks, beverages. :-)

- By the end of the club, you will have a wonderful assortment of stamps, inks and accessories by making gradual monthly purchase. And better yet, you will be a pro at how to use all your new supplies!

- Each month, one club member will get a change to be the “hostess”! You will get at least one Hostess Stamp Set and $15.00 in free product (You could get a lot more!).

- When it is your month to be hostess, you have the option of inviting more guests to the club meeting, thus increasing your hostess benefits!

Club Beginning in August:

Card Club – Every month you will make 4 cards (2 designs, 2 of each) based on a certain theme (birthday, thank you, get well, etc.). This is a great way to stock up on cards every month. Card clubs include envelopes, so you are ready to go!

Scrapbook Club - Each month we meet to make one 2 page, 12 x 12 layout. Themes will be seasonal and general so they can be used by all. Customization is available to suit your needs. Pictures not required to bring to class. When we are done with our classes, you will have wonderful layouts just waiting for you to add your cherished photographs! Each month a 2nd set of pages will be available for an additional $10 material fee.

Contact me to reserve your space!

Once the members are in place, we will work out a monthly meeting time that is convenient for everyone's schedule.

Lemonade, anyone?

Here is the 2nd card we made at my monthly Card Club this past week. Isn't it cute? The cup is made from Stampin' Up!'s Cardstock Vellum (this stuff is awesome...much heavier and sturdier than regular vellum). We sponged Summer Sun ink on the back side of the vellum. The lemons are made by using the Tart and Tangy Stamp Set and the sugar on the rim of the glass is our Chunky Glitter. You can always place an order online 24/7 for any Stampin' Up! products we carry...you don't need to wait for a class or workshop.
What a fun summer card this is!
Enjoy your weekend!

Card Club Spoiler

Happy Tuesday, Everyone!

Today I am working on the cards for my Monthly Card Club. We meet once a month, and the gals make 4 cards (2 designs, 2 of each). My favorite new accessory is the Manhatten Flower Impression Folder to use with the Big Shot. It make the most beautiful cards!

Here is one of the cards we will be making tomorrow night.

I ran Vellum Cardstock through the Big Shot with the Manhatten Flower Folder, sponged Pretty In Pink ink on the reverse side, and added 2 way glue and glitter to the raised portion of the flower. It's very sparkly and pretty in person! A bit of Whisper White Taffeta ribbon hides the adhesive under the vellum. I thought this would make a beautiful wedding card.

Here is a close up look of the detail and the glittering:

Guests are welcome to attend Card Club meetings. There is a $10 material fee, or the fee is waived with a $30 order. We have a lot of fun and welcome you to join us. Fall Clubs will be forming over the summer, so stay tuned!
Have a great afternoon and thanks for stopping by!

Soft Summer Get Well

The new Occassions Mini Catalog has so many sets I just love! One of them is called Soft Summer. I did this card last week with my monthly card club. They make 4 cards (2 designs, 2 of each). This one features Pink Pirouette Cardstock and the Bella Rose Designer Series Paper. No ribbons or bling...it doesn't need it. Simple and pretty all on it's own. :)
Thanks for stopping by!

Test Run

Well, I think I should be able to go live in a day or two. Thanks to Heather and Michelle for setting all this up for me! I am learning (albeit slowly...but I will get there)!

So, I thought I would try to post an actual project! GASP! I know, you're shocked....

I just learned how to do my watermark, and all that jazz. So, here we go....

This is a card we made this month at my Card Club...isn't it pretty and oh, so springy? Lots of So Saffron going on here. This set is called Great Friend and it's new in the Occassions Mini Catalog. And did you notice that new gor-jus scallop oval punch? LOVE IT! Coordinated perfectly with our Large Oval Punch!

This is a busy weekend! I have a Crazy For Cupcakes Class tonight with 6 fabulous ladies...we are going to have a great time. After all, who doesn't love a good cupcake?
And Sunday is the Spring Fling Stamp A Stack. New location...Giamatti Little League Center on Mix Street in Bristol...lots of light, lots of room...it's all good. Look forward to seeing your smiling faces over the weekend. Enjoy your day and thanks for stopping by!
