Autumn Inspiration

Happy Saturday, Stampers!

So, as I looked back through my blog posts, I see that I have been sharing some holiday cards. I didn't mean to rush the season! Geez. we aren't even through Halloween yet. LOL.

Today is a beauuuutiful Autumn Day...so I looked through my Regional Samples and found a bunch of Autumn related cards to share with you!

I am in a bit of rush this morning as my Saturday AM Stamp Group is coming in about an hour, and I am not ready! So, I am just going to list the cards and the stamp set name.

This spooky Halloween Card features the Graveyard Gala Stamp Set. Great set for Halloween Invitations to your Boo Bash!

One of my MOST FAVORITE sets from the Holiday Mini....French Foliage. No matter how you stamp it, its just plain ol' purtty!

Very clever use of the Autumn Days Set...the wheat stamp was made into a wreath by stamping it several times in a circle. Cute, eh?

And a cute little witch is the last one I have for today. This set is called FANGTASTIC, and its just adorable for all those little ghosts and goblins on Halloween!

More Cards from Regionals

Here are a few more cards that I thought were so adorable! Such creative stampers at these events!

This first one uses the Jolly Bingo Bits from the Holiday Mini Catalog. Super cute, and super easy! Gotta love the easy ones that you can just crank out! This is Crumb Cake and Cherry Cobbler Ink and cardstock.

This next one features the Deck the Halls Designer Series Paper (LOVE IT) and the 2 Tags Die Cut for the Big Shot. Again, super cute, and super easy! A piece of the Cherry Cobbler seem binding ribbon pulls it all together! The "Peace on Earth" sentiment is from the Level 2 Hostess Set. More Samples from Regional Seminar

Here are a few more cards that inspired me over the weekend. Stampin' Up! events are so wonderful because there is so much creativity everywhere, and you come home inspired to stamp and create!

Both of these cards use the Tags Till Christmas Stamp Set in the Holiday Mini. The top card uses the Jolly Holiday Designer Series Paper that is in the main Catalog. The 2nd card uses the Deck the Halls Designer Series Paper that is in the Holiday Mini.

What I really love is that the main image is different on each card, but they both coordinate with the new Decorative Label Punch. Cool, eh?

Stampin' Up! makes coordination very simple. It's awesome how so many of our products are designed to work together, making your paper crafting easy as pie!

Autumn is in the Air!

Well, I am back from Baltimore, and I had a great time! I was thrilled with the cooler weather today. I mean, it is October now....and I was ready to turn off the A/C.

I am preparing for my October Stamp Groups and Autumn Stamp Camps this week. We have such wonderful Autumn Stamps that I couldn't decide which to use - - - so I decided to use them both! :)

I got a lot of great inspiration on my trip this weekend, and was anxious to get home and play in my stamp room.

The free set we got for attending the Regional Seminar is Day of Gratitude. It's such a beautiful stamp set! You can find it in the Holiday Mini Catalog. And although it is an Autumn Stamp Set, I have seen non-autumn cards with it as well. So it's a very versatile set!

Here is what I came up with for one of my stamp camps later in the month:

The Card Base is Cajun Craze, with a layer of More Mustard. The stamping is on a piece of Very Vanilla. The ink colors are Cajun Craze, More Mustard and Chocolate Chip. I did a lot of sponging (in chocolate chip) on this card. I love how it just ages the card and makes it look more rustic. The Cajun Craze strip across the middle was punched with the new scallop edge punch, sponged with Chocolate Chip and tied with a piece of Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon.

The greeting is also stamped in Chocolate Chip and punched out with the new Decorative Label Punch (also found in the mini catalog).

The second card I used the French Foliage set. I have to say this is bordering on one of my ALL TIME favorites. You just can't make a bad card with this set. No matter what you do, it's gorgeous! This is one of the cards my stamp group will make this week.

Here is the card I came up with:

The card base on this one is Early Espresso. The layer is Cherry Cobbler (embossed using the square lattice embossing folder and the big shot). The ribbon is a piece of Early Espresso stripped grosgrain ribbon. The images are stamped on a piece of Very Vanilla - and the ink colors are Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso and Old Olive. I love the little stamp that looks like splatters - makes it look like you dripped your coffee on the card. LOL. But really, it's very cool and adds dimension to the images.

I have 2 groups that meet on a monthly basis. One meets the first Tuesday night of each month, the other meets the 2nd Saturday ( 10 AM) of the month. The gals stamp 4 cards (2 designs, 2 of each) each month. We have a lot of fun together each time we meet. If you would like to come stamp with us, we would love to have you! Just RSVP to me at least 2 days in advance (I need time to prep material). The cost is $10, or waived with a $30 order.

Greetings from Baltimore

I am in Baltimore this weekend for a Stampin' Up! Regional Seminar. There is nothing I love more than being with my Stampin Up! friends! It is SO much fun to see these gals at Stampin' Up! Events. Such FUN!

We stayed right near the Inner Harbor Area, which is just gorgeous! The weather has been

amazing as well. We totally lucked out. And I had the MOST amazing Crab Cakes EVER! OMG, so much crab that I almost couldn't finish (almost...LOL). Check out mosseafood.com! They even ship these amazing crab cakes! Many of the Food Network Chefs have visited Mo's (like Rachel Ray!) and rated them #1!
