Pop-Up Posies LOVE

Hello Friends -

I have been getting ready for a scrapbooking retreat that is happening next weekend. I am fortunate to be the Stampin' Up! Demonstrator at this event. It's a great time to connect with wonderful ladies. I like to show a project or teach a technique while I am there.

In the Spring Catalog there is another fabulous kit called Pop Up Posies. I must admit, it's easy to pass right by this kit and not realize all the goodness inside. I ordered it a few weeks ago and finally cracked it open this weekend. Oh. Boy. So much fun inside!

I wanted to create a card set around this kit. The primary colors in this kit are Summer Starfruit, Calypso Coral, Pool Party and Crumb Cake.

Here are the cards I came up with:

I love the brightness of the coral. It just makes me happy and reminds me that warm weather is coming...eventually!

The flowers are so fun. In each of these I stacked 3 flowers of the same color, scrunched them up to give them texture, and added either a button or brad to the center.

And the great thing about this kit is you still have lots of flowers left over to make more!

Here is what come in the kit:

Item # 131395

You get 30 of each flower, an assortment of brads, twine, labels and the adorable Just For You stamp set above!

You can purchase the above kit by visiting my Online Store!

Thanks for stopping by today! Happy Sunday!

This kit is loaded with delicious trinkets such as buttons, hearts, flowers, ribbons and tags.
Truly a paper crafters dream come true.

Here is a peek a what comes in the kit:

I had a wonderful time in my Stamp Room today creating a class built around this kit.

The cards are beautiful! And what I love MOST about them is that they came together SO SO easy because the work is already done for you in this kit. People will think that these cards took you forever to make! Love that!

So....do you want to see the cards? Of course you do!

Pretty awesome, right?

Ok here are the class details:

DATE: Sunday, Feb 3rd

Vintage Love

I just received a box of LOVE from Stampin' Up! A box full of wonderful goodies from the Spring Catalog.

Where do I begin?

Let me show you the beautiful card I made tonight with these new treats. :)

The cardstock base is Basic Grey. The layer is Very Vanilla embossed with the Fancy Fan embossing folder

The Designer Series Paper is new...and oh so pretty. You can find it in the Spring Catalog. It is called Tea For Two. This paper is so springy and cintage. I love it!
Here is a closer look:

But my favorite element of this card is the vintage flowers. This flower trim comes in a long strand, 2 yards long, in Very Vanilla.

I cut off three flowers and then used a few drops of Calypso Coral reinker mixed with some water, to color them. After dipping the flowers in the ink, I used my heat tool to dry them. I love this because the heat scrunches up the flowers on the edge, which is so cool. Just watch them carefully if you decide to try it. It's awesome, but the heat tool is very hot and your flowers can shrivel too much!

Remember you can get all of these items in my online store. Be sure to check it out.
And remember, it's Sale-A-Bration time! That means FREE GOODIES for you with every $50 purchase.

Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Wednesday!

Love is In The Air

Now that Christmas is over, love is in the air. Have you been in a store lately? It's exploding with hearts and candy. And the new Stampin' Up! Spring Catalog is no exception. We have got the lions share of yummy supplies to help you make adorable Valentines Day cards and treats.

The Hearts a Flutter Bundle is a great place to start. A super cute stamp set and coordinating framelit dies. By purchasing these items together in a bundle, you save $$. Always a good thing! :0)

And lets not forget the More Amore Designer Series Paper. Lots of fun patterns and colors. I really LOVE this paper.

I made a quick card using these items today. I love it because it came together in literally less than 10 minutes. Cute and quick....my favorite combination.

The greeting is from the Delightful Dozen Stamp Set. This is such a versatile set...it covers every occasion.

It sure is cold here. Only 19 degrees this morning.
It's a good night to stay in and stamp something pretty!

You can purchase these items in my Online Store at any time.

Thanks for stopping by, have a great day!

More New Goodies!

Today was a snow day! Yippee! We all turn into a 10 year old when school is closed! For me, it meant getting unpacked from my Orlando trip and cleaning up my stamp room. There was still Christmas stuff everywhere! LOL

One of the most things about Stampin' Up! events is swapping cards with fellow Demonstrators. I always get some great ideas from swaps. And this event was no different.

Here are a few that I loved!

This one features the Tea for Two Designer Series Paper and one of the Rosettes found in the Spring Catalog. Do you see the tiny butterflies? Yummy new punch! Love it! The tickets are all the rage too...so don't miss the new set, That's the Ticket. Of course, we have a coordinating punch too! :)

Love is definitely in the air! We have a wonderful Suite of products called Hearts a Flutter! Don't miss the stamps, designer paper and the framelit dies that all coordinate perfectly. See that pretty doily in the background there? Oh so girly and flirty! You can find those in the Spring Catalog too!

If you haven't gotten a copy of the new Spring Catalog, please drop me a note and I will get one off to you. You can also click here to view it online as a PDF.

Thanks for stopping by today. It's a cold, snowy day here in CT. So I hope wherever you are, you got to make something pretty!

OH. MY. WORD!

I can't believe that I haven't posted anything since November 30th! Shame on me! I must have fallen off the blogging wagon, and got caught up in Christmas, etc. No excuses! I apologize for the lack of posts! I will *try* to get better going forward.

As I write this, I am sitting in Cincinnati airport heading back to CT. after a fabulous girls trip to Orlando for the Stampin' Up! Leadership Conference. It never disapoints. So many pretty things, lots of creativity and I come home renewed and excited to get back into my stamp room.

Look at this EYE CANDY! My friend Kimberly made it for me! She is a rock star! GAW-JUS!

So many pretty trinkets and embellishments from the  Spring Catalog ..it is amazing! The accessories alone send me over the moon! And after seeing so many beautiful samples using these items, I can't wait to start holding some classes and sharing them with you!

More than the creativity and pretty things, this trip was about a lot of laughs with some great friends. You know, if it weren't for Stampin' Up! I never would have met any of these ladies. They are wonderful human beings and I adore them all.

Here is a fun picture that Kimberly took of us with her camera, and did her fancy shmancy stuff with it, and viola! It's ART!

Cool, right? I love it! She is full of clever little tricks, that one! :)

Time for one more yummy sample before I board my next plane...

This is perfect for Valentine's Day! This was a sample on the display board at the SU Conference. So pretty, and vintage!
And it's got pink M & M's inside! Love!

Next time I will have to tell you about how we were stuck in traffic headed to the Stampin' PJ Party (of course wearing our pajamas) and the gas light came on. It was a close one, I tell ya...good times!

Thanks for stopping by...
