Life's A Breeze Layout

Happy Saturday, friends!
A quick post this morning and then we are off to bring home our new puppy! We are very excited and I am sure I will be posting new pictures!

Here is a fun summer layout for those vacation pictures. We did this at my monthly scrapbook club in May.

I love the bright colors of Tempting Turquoise and Gable Green! They are very summery! I used the Big Shot Envelope Die Cut so you could tuck a note of journaling in there. The images are from the Life's A Breeze Stamp Set, which is so fun for all things summer!
The Designer Series Paper is Rainbow Sherbet and coordinates with the solid card stock colors perfectly.
Scrapbook Clubs are a great way to make sure you get those pages done every month, and have a lot of fun doing it! I will be starting up Scrap Clubs again in August, so drop me a note if you want to secure a spot, as space is limited.
Happy Weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Raspberry Tart Card Class

I am so sorry I have not posted all week! It's been one drama after another around here. Emily has been sick. I will save you the gory details, but let's just say that a nebulizer is the newest member of our family. At least she finally slept last night for the first time in a week! So, I am glad to say things are looking up.

Today I wanted to share a set of cards that are just adorable! I love the Raspberry Tart paper, and I am sure it will be retired with the new catalog release. So, I wanted to squeeze in one more class using it. This is a set of 4 cards, all using different sets but the common theme is the paper.

This is an easy-peasy class, no prior experience necessary. Just basic stuff...but so cute!

Here is the class info:

DATE: Weds June 24th

TIME: 10 AM or 7 PM

CLASS FEE: $10.00

Six spaces available in each class. Please bring adhesive and scissors.

To register for class, you may pay using the PayPal option below, or contact me via email to reserve your space.

Our girl, Bella

We just received this picture of Bella from the breeder. She is now 7 weeks! Look how cute and fluffy she is! We are very excited to get her! I love how he sends me pictures every few weeks so we can see how she has grown.

While Emily, Jacob and I are all very excited, Ed hasn't said too much. He seems a little on the aprehensive side (probably because he thinks he will be the one walking her everyday). But since I have a great job where I get to work from home, I am excited to have her with me (until she chews a stamp set or some paper, that is). LOL.
Thanks for stopping by!

Lemonade, anyone?

Here is the 2nd card we made at my monthly Card Club this past week. Isn't it cute? The cup is made from Stampin' Up!'s Cardstock Vellum (this stuff is awesome...much heavier and sturdier than regular vellum). We sponged Summer Sun ink on the back side of the vellum. The lemons are made by using the Tart and Tangy Stamp Set and the sugar on the rim of the glass is our Chunky Glitter. You can always place an order online 24/7 for any Stampin' Up! products we carry...you don't need to wait for a class or workshop.
What a fun summer card this is!
Enjoy your weekend!

A Trip Down 5th Avenune

I am so excited to announce this new class! Join me to make this funky box and 4 matching cards...all using the 5th Avenue Floral Stamp set! This class features the Manhatten Flower impressions folder, Urban Oasis Designer Series Paper and lots of embossing and watercoloring!

The box pulls out like a drawer, and inside are the most bright, vibrant cards! The box is very glittery and sparkly (not sure you get that from the pictures) and finished off with gorgeous White Organza Ribbon.

CLASS INFO:

DATE: Weds, June 17th or Friday June 19th

TIME: 6:30 PM
COST: $20.00 Material Fee OR $35.00 Material Fee including the Stamp Set for you to keep (20% savings!)

Card Club Spoiler

Happy Tuesday, Everyone!

Today I am working on the cards for my Monthly Card Club. We meet once a month, and the gals make 4 cards (2 designs, 2 of each). My favorite new accessory is the Manhatten Flower Impression Folder to use with the Big Shot. It make the most beautiful cards!

Here is one of the cards we will be making tomorrow night.

I ran Vellum Cardstock through the Big Shot with the Manhatten Flower Folder, sponged Pretty In Pink ink on the reverse side, and added 2 way glue and glitter to the raised portion of the flower. It's very sparkly and pretty in person! A bit of Whisper White Taffeta ribbon hides the adhesive under the vellum. I thought this would make a beautiful wedding card.

Here is a close up look of the detail and the glittering:

Guests are welcome to attend Card Club meetings. There is a $10 material fee, or the fee is waived with a $30 order. We have a lot of fun and welcome you to join us. Fall Clubs will be forming over the summer, so stay tuned!
Have a great afternoon and thanks for stopping by!
