Hostess Gift

Today I have a workshop in my home with a great customer and friend. She books with me every year during Sale-A-Bration, and she always earns a ton of free stuff. :0)

I like to make a handstamped gift for my hostesses. Sure, they get many wonderful rewards from Stampin' Up! for hosting, but I want to show my appreciation, so I like to take the time to make them something special.

Here is what I came up with for today.

This is a card portfolio - when you untie and open, holds 4 stamped cards and the matching envelopes on the inside.

Here is a peek at the inside.

I used Vintage Vogue to stamp the outside of the portfolio. The inside uses the Great Friend Stamp Set. I also used the Beautiful Wings Embosslit Die to cut and emboss some awesome butterflies on her cards. The cardstock colors are Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive. I tied it together with the Cottage Wall Designer Series Paper (my fav! It's gorgeous!) and the Rich Razzleberry Polka Dot Ribbon.

I am looking forward to a fun afternoon of stampin' with these gals today. I hope she likes her gift!

Have a great Sunday and thanks for stopping by!

Mini Catalog Inspiration

After my group meeting on Sunday, I had some down time to play with all my new stampin' goodies! I made a couple of cards that I want to share with you today.

Now, I have to apologize up front...I am hooked on the Vintage look...Vintage Vogue Stamp set in particular. A few more cards and I should get it out of my system. LOL.

This card features the Bella Bleu Designer Paper and the new Vanilla Satin Ribbon...I also added a vanilla half back pearl from the Pretties Kit to the center of the flower.

This is simply Bashful Blue and Soft Suede. The top portion of the card was embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots folder, and sponged. The greeting is the Well Scripted Stamp Set in the Mini Catalog. The ribbon is Vanilla Taffeta. The punch is the Sale-A-Bration offering...get it for FREE with a $50 order. I added a vanilla button to the center of the flower and did a bit more sponging.

Stay tuned for more samples coming your way!

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Creative Inspiration

One of the most exciting things about Stampin' Up! events, is SWAPPING! Boy, we sure love it! I came home with so many wonderful card samples! I want to share some of those with you. Most of the samples feature new products from the Occasions Mini Catalog. Once you see what you can do with this stuff, you are going to want it all!

These card samples are from my favorite new set, Vintage Vogue. We got this set for FREE for attending leadership - just one of the perks of being a Demonstrator! I can't wait to get started using it.

This first card was made by my good friend, Lisa Freeman. I love the Bella Bleu paper she used, with the chocolate taffeta ribbon and the new Pinking Hearts border punch!

This beauty was made by demonstrator, Kathy Hilden from Michigan. I love the Bella Bleu paper, the color combo and the simple stamping. So simple to make and just gorgeous!

This last one was made by my pal Cindy Peterson from Salt Lake City. The color combo is yummy...Rich Razzleberry and Kraft! Did you notice how she used the Finial Press Embossing Folder on the top half of the card? Gorgeous!

To order online, simply visit my Stampin' Up! web site, and click Shop Now! Don't forget that it's Sale-A-Bration time! Every $50 earns you free Stamps, Paper and Accessories!

Thanks for stopping by today! Tune in tomorrow for more creative inspiration!
