Indescribable Gift

So, it's -10 degrees out, the wind is blowing, and we are pretty much living in our PJ's and hibernating. I won't complain about it, since that is all everyone is doing. Just know, that yes, it does suck.

In order to survive this dreadful weather pattern, I have escaped to my stamp heaven. Here, I am making spring cards and dreaming of warmer days.

I pulled out a new set that is in the Occasions Catalog, called Indescribable Gift. It's a beautiful Easter set, and perfect for coloring with our new Blendabilities.

The best thing about using the Blendabilities on this is that there are 3 shades of the same color in a pack (light, medium and dark). And since they are alcohol based markers they blend beautifully! 

The best stamp pad to use on this would be the Memento Tuxedo Black. It won't bleed or run when you start to color.

Lovely Butterfly Basics

Hands down, my new favorite item in the Occasions Catalog is the Butterfly Basics Stamp Set and Coordinating Framelits. These butterflies are GORGEOUS!

TIP: The easiest and best way to cut out these butterflies with your Big Shot is to use a piece of Wax paper between the Framelit and the the Cardstock. That sucker pops right out, easy peasy...which is a bonus as it is very intricate.

Gorgeous, right? The best thing about this set is that you can make stunning cards with such little effort. It's a great set!
