Scrapbook Club Sneak Peek

Monday evening is my monthly Scrapbook Club meeting where we get to make two 12x12 layouts. It's a lot of fun and it's great to actually have scheduled time to get some pages completed! We are all so busy that it seems like we never have time to get it done (myself included!).

Here is one of the Halloween Pages we are making tomorrow.... It's using our new Cast A Spell Desginer Series Paper and the House of Haunts Stamp Set.

The title "BOO" was made using the Big Shot. We are going to cut the letters out of chipboard (love that the BIG SHOT cuts over 50 different types of material!) and use some heat and stick powder along with our SuperFine Glitter in purple to make the title. It's very sparkly in person!

The tag on the left is heat embossed in Basic Black on Glossy White Cardstock, and then we used some sponges to apply the color. Such fun techniques!

I still have to get pictures on the 2nd page, but I will share the completed layout when it's all finished! :-)

My Digital Studio

Oh, my! I don't know where to start!

I received my copy of Stampin' Up!'s paper crafting software, My Digital Studio, today. To call is a digital scrapbooking program would be a grave injustice.
It not only does pages, it does albums, and greeting cards, and calendars...and you can make movies and burn DVD Videos...

Now, I just got it this afternoon...I was all giddy with excitement as my favorite man in brown delivered it. After dinner, after walking the dog, after making sure homework is done, and backpacks are ready, and kids are showered...then I sat down to play. And you may never hear from me again. LOL. It's THAT good. And I have only scratched the surface.

Here is a page I made tonight...a Halloween page. I love all the digital elements, like the torn edges, the ribbon, the punches, the stamped images...all in SU's Exclusive 48 Colors. WOW!




Be kind, as this is only my first try and I have lots more playing ahead of me! LOL. I will be stuck to this computer all weekend I think!

Look for more projects to come. I am sure I will have lots to share with you very soon! :)
