MDS Blog Hop Friday!

Hello Friends,

So sorry to have missed last weeks blog hop. I am actually STILL not feeling well and finally dragged myself to the doctor. Seems I have bronchitis (so they think). The cough is the worst! So I have an inhaler and some strong cough medicine. Lets hope that helps! Sheesh!

Anyway, the reason you are here is to see some digital goodness! What a fun challenge this week...to case a layout found on Pinterest! I LOVE Pinterest! I get lots of great ideas there. The hard part was selecting just one.

Here is the link to the layout I cased.

And here is my page:

There is a lot of mish mash on this page. I started with crumb cake cardstock and then added a textured overlay to give the paper the crumpled look. Then I added some squares of patterned paper in Crumb Cake and Pool Party.  The photo frames are from the Downtown Grunge Kit. I used a few tickets from the Keep This Memory Kit also. So, a little of this, a little of that.

This was a great day on our recent cruise. We loved the beautiful waters in Mexico. Costa Maya wasn't all that great as destination, but the waters were lovely.

Thank you for stopping by today! Please continue on the hop to see what the other ladies have prepared for you!

Have a great weekend!

MDS Blog Hop Friday

Hello Friends,

And here we are, another Friday upon us. I am sorry that I couldn't get it together to participate this week. I have been sick all week with a cold, cough and fever, and I just didn't feel up to it.

Please continue on the hop to visit the other ladies who no doubt have something wonderful to share.

See you next week!

MDS BLOG HOP FRIDAY

Hello Friends,

This weeks challenge was super fun! Mandy challenged us to make a card using this sketch.

I love anything with banners, as they are all the rage these days. :) When I looked at the layout, I thought it would be a cute design for a Halloween Card.

So, here is my take on the sketch:

The paper I used was the Cast A Spell DSP. The stamp is from Spooky Bingo Bits. I love that we can multi color stamped images now, as with the old version, my little witchy friend would have been all black (or one solid color). Now she can accessorize!

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope your weekend is off to a great start!

Be sure to visit my other Blogging Friends and see what they have for you today!

I got the inspiration from this card from another Demonstrator (I don't remember who....so sorry!).

This is super easy, super quick, and super CUTE!

I love the Marina Mist and the Real Red together. The silver slimmer paper gives it just a bit of a POP.

MDS BLOG HOP FRIDAY

Hello Friends,

I apologize for the lack of posts lately! I have returned to work, kids are back in school, and I have to tell you...it's taking some getting used to! I am REALLY out of practice. The foot is behaving nicely, and I am happy to be moving again!

This weeks theme was a FUN one...FOOD! And if you have ever been on a Cruise, you know that is one thing there is LOTS of. So, of course, I used several pictures from our recent Disney Cruise.

Here is my page:

The kit I used was the Tickets and Tags Designer kit. It's got great paper (Poppy Parade, Baja Breeze, Crumb Cake and Basic Grey). And did you notice the super cute Mickey Mouse head I snuck in there?
Super easy...made it using circle punches and filling with Basic Black.

Here is a close up look at the contents of the kit:
